It’s hard to forget a name like ‘Nebuchadnezzar,’ which is what Morpheus’ ship was called. This, of course, references King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon, found in the Biblical Book of Daniel. You probably already know that the vast majority of the Matrix was shot in Sydney, Australia. This posed a problem when location scouts needed to find burned out, American ghetto looking locations. The only way the filmmakers were able to solve this, was by creating these locations from scratch…well played Australia!
