7. Dream another dream…
Morpheus is actually the god of dreams in Greek Mythology. If you think about it, this is pretty ironic because Morpheus’ role in the Matrix it to actually awaken people form their dream states and into the reality of the real world.
8. Enter the Dragon!
Right before Neo starts his massive attack on Morpheus in the combat training program, he rubs his nose with his thumb and finger. This was actually improvised by Keanu and was a nod to Bruce Lee, as he did this before he attacked his opponents.
9. Some serious manscaping!
When Neo wakes up from his pod he’s thin and hairless. Keanu Reeves actually lost fifteen pounds and shaved his entire body, to ensure that his character Neo had a gaunt look.
