You’ve got a friend in me! Throughout the Toy Story Franchise we made a lot of friends. From Cowboy Woody to Mr. Potato Head and everyone in between, these Pixar animated characters warmed our hearts and jumped into our lives. Take a moment and learn 16 new things you never knew about Toy Story 3.
1. We got to break out of this joint!
So, all the toys are stuck inside ‘Sunnyside Daycare’ and they have to make a break for it. To ensure that the animators did it just right, they watched a ton of prison break movies to get inspiration. We mean a ton! Talk about committed to the craft!
2. Mama!
You’ve got to remember ‘Big Baby,’ a crucial character from Toy Story 3. But, the reality is that ‘Big Baby’ didn’t have much to say except ‘Mama.’ Just like any audition, the casting agents had a ton of babies try out, but in the end, they landed with a little baby named none other than ‘Woody!’ One of the directors from Toy Story 3 joked that that’s probably why they chose that baby in the end. We think Woody did a great job!
3. May you rest in peace
The voice talent for the Toy Story films has always been epic, and it’s the case for Toy Story 3 as well. That said, many of the actors were quite old and we lost four actors in 2017-18, including the voice actors for Mr. Potato Head, Twitch, Sarge and Chuckles.
