16. Fall on the Oregon coast.
If you look closely, in the film you’ll see a calendar up. What month is it on? October…apparently when the story was set. Seems ‘fallish’ in Oregon, doesn’t it?
17. It’s Bond…James Bond.
Who could forget the scene that introduces Data? As he swings through the front door of Mikey’s house, you can hear the James Bond theme playing. Coincidently enough, Robert Davi (who plays Jake Fratelli) would later go on to play the main villain a few years later in the James Bond film ‘License to Kill.’
18. Ready, set, go!
During the opening of the film, there’s the exciting car chase. This is when we first meet Chunk. He’s busy having fun in an arcade, playing a video game. Which video game was it, well none other than the classic: Pole Position!
