You can spot a Texaco gas station in both 1955 and 1985 in the original film. Interestingly enough, Christopher Lloyd’s grandfather was one of the few founders of this massive oil company.
20. It’s written all over your underwear!
In the original English version of Back to the Future, Marty is often mistakenly called ‘Calvin Klein,’ because ‘it’s written all over his underwear.’ In the French version he’s called ‘Pierre Cardin’ and in the Spanish translation, he’s ‘Levi Strauss.’ We hope you learned something new, thanks for joining us!
