7. The clock is ticking!
Did you know that it took over 2.5 years for the screenwriters to finish the final draft of Toy Story 3? But, it was worth it, creating such a classic. In fact, this movie was so popular it became the first Pixar film to be released at IMAX.
8. Keep Caring!
One of the directors from Toy Story 3 wanted the famous antagonist, Lotso, to be a member from the Care Bears toy line. This concept was held right until the storyboard was completed. Good thing that they dropped that idea, because if anything we learned in this film it is that Lotso doesn’t care much at all about anything but himself.
9. Fast Food!
You’ll notice three items in the film, that are famous at American restaurants: A hamburger, soft drink and fries. These three food toys appear in the crowd that initially greet Woody and all of the new toys at the day care center. These toys are all based on food toys that appeared with Ronald McDonald in 80s TV commercials for McDonald’s Happy Meals.
